The costume budget is one of the largest costs to any performing arts organization. Your rental helps us provide costuming to local schools and community theatres at a reduced rate.

In the U.S. alone it is estimated that 35 million costumes end up in landfills every Halloween! Choosing to rent your costumes from us takes a stand against needless waste and ensures that you stand out in a sea of mass produced costumes.

We're bursting at the seams so you don't have to take up space in your own closet with things you're only going to wear once. From costume parties to galas, we can help!
Donation Policy
Donations to the Costume Shop can be made appointment only. Please understand that we may not be able to accept some donations due to space limitations, redundancies in our stock, or the condition of the items. Once a donation has been accepted, Riverwalk Theatre reserves the right to sell or donate items at any time.
Please email costumes@riverwalktheatre.com with a description and photos of the items. A costume shop associate will get back to you within 2-3 business days to let you know if we can accept the donation and schedule a date and time for you to bring it to the shop.
The Fine Print
RENTAL PERIOD: Costumes can be rented for up to 7 Days.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All costume rentals require a refundable Security Deposit starting at $100.00 per costume. Your cash, credit card or check will be returned to you when the costumes are returned on time, in clean, and good condition.
CLEANING: It is REQUIRED for items worn directly against skin or that are soiled to be cleaned in a manner appropriate for fabric and trim, before rentals are returned to the shop. Alternatively, we offer "We Clean" for a $20.00 fee per costume.
