Ellie Alspaugh (she/her) - Placard Girl - This is Ellie’s second show at Riverwalk, her first being Legally Blonde (Ensemble). Outside of Riverwalk Ellie has been in numerous other shows, including A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Phoebe), Oklahoma (Laurey) and Footloose (Ariel). Ellie currently attends Michigan State University, majoring in zoology and minoring in theater. She also enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her friends, family, partner, and cats in her free time. She has fallen in love with this show and is so excited to be a part of this wonderful production!

Ny’Kieria Blocker - Mae- is thrilled to be a part of this show directed by her great friend, Quinn Kelly, whose vision for this production has been years in the making. She is so excited to finally bring this dream to life alongside such a wonderful cast and creative team! You may have previously seen her in LCC’s Island Song. Other favorite Riverwalk Theatre roles include Casey in First Date, Sandy Cheeks in The SpongeBob Musical, and Trixie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Ny’Kieria would like to thank her friends, family, and God for their endless love and support. She is so grateful to everyone who has supported her journey and helped make moments like this possible. Sylvia Bunn (she/her) - Mary Lane - Sylvia is in her second season at Riverwalk Theatre. Last season you would’ve seen her as ensemble in both Legally Blonde and Jesus Christ SuperStar. She was also behind the curtain as a co-choreographer in Seussical. She has found Riverwalk’s community incredibly inviting and has felt inspired by all the amazing talent so she decided to audition for this show as well. This is Sylvia’s first principal role at Riverwalk! She feels incredibly lucky to have been selected for this role and is so grateful for this opportunity. I am excited to share the stage with a cast this talented.

Jordyne Darden (she/her) - Ensemble -This is Jordyne’s first show at Riverwalk and she is so grateful to be apart of this show. She would also like to thank the amazing cast who have all been so welcoming and have really made her first production since 2016 a great one. Hopefully you will be seeing a lot more of her to come. So sit back, relax and enjoy the madness.

Evan David (he/him) - Ralph/ Uncle Sam - Evan is ready for his first principal role at Riverwalk Community Theatre. After his last—and first—show at Riverwalk, Legally Blonde of the 2025-2026 season (Ensemble/Grandmaster Chad). He is going to LCC for education to become an elementary school teacher, but in his free time he likes to paint, make crafts, and play/make music

Lizabeth Desmet (they/them) - Sally - Liz has had the pleasure of being both on and off of Riverwalk’s stages. You may have previously seen them onstage in Urinetown and Kinky Boots, or behind the scenes of Lustful Youth and Lanstronauts: We Have a Problem. More recently, you may have seen Liz in Island Song (LCC) or as music director for Seussical. During the day, Liz is a freelance music educator teaching early childhood music classes and private voice lessons throughout the Lansing area. 

Jason Durr (he/him) - Jimmy Harper - Jason is thrilled to be a part of his first show at Riverwalk! His most recent performance in the area was 1984 (Winston) at Lansing Community College. Jason feels incredibly lucky to be a part of this show and would like to thank everyone involved for their amazing effort and hard work. He would also like to thank Tyler and Spencer for always supporting him no matter what.



Jillian Gaynett (she/her) - Ensemble - Jillian is so excited to be apart of her second show with Riverwalk Theater! She was last caught stealing clovers in Seussical as a Wickersham Brother and can’t wait to continue to cause mischief and MADNESS with this insanely talented cast and crew of reefer fiends. She would like to thank her loving and supportive partner, Jonathan, for listening to the Reefer Madness soundtrack maybe way too many times and for holding back their 3 kitty children every practice night. 

Kayla Henry (she/her) - Ensemble/Hair and Makeup design - Kayla is an award winning Actor and hair and makeup designer from the Greater Lansing area. Most recent credits include Mrs. French in Ravenscroft and Karen the Computer in SpongeBob the Musical and Trixie in The Rocky Horror Show; all at Riverwalk Theatre and Student in Defiance at Ixion. Many thanks to Quinn and Rita for trusting her to bring their vision to the stage, to Michael for putting up with her antics and to her family for supporting her and the amazing local arts we all love!


Betsy Karinen - Lecturer - has been re-entering the Lansing theater community after time away for family, school, and career. A graduate of LCC’s theater studio program, she was most recently seen in Riverwalk Theater’s production of Little Women as Marmee. She is over the moon to be part of Reefer Madness and working with so many talented individuals. 

Connor Kelly (he/him) - Jack/Jesus - Connor would like to thank you for welcoming him back for another performance at Riverwalk Theatre. The last time he was here you may have seen him in the ensemble of Angels In America. Since then he's been hustling as a bartender at Front 43 in Frandor and performing at Peppermint Creek in productions such as Eureka Day and Fairview. Connor would like to thank his family and friends for their support in his endeavors. He would also like to thank his director and brother Quinn Kelly for his trust in taking on the role of Jack. Lastly he would like to thank you all for supporting local arts and Lansing Community Theatre! Enjoy the show!

Caleb Liggett (he/him) - Ensemble- Caleb has been involved with Riverwalk Theatre for over a decade and has loved each his time with each show that he’s acted in. Since 2015, his credits in Riverwalk include A Christmas Carol, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Master Harold and the Boys, HairsprayAll Together Now, The Revolutionists, A Year with Frog and Toad, James and the Giant Peach, Pickleball and Seussical. Caleb even has backstage credits with Grease, Are you being Served and These Shining Lives. Caleb also has acted in roles with other theaters outside of Riverwalk such as Man of Lamancha and A Charlie Brown Christmas for Starlight Dinner Theatre and Brokeology at Peppermint Creek. When Caleb is not doing theatre, he would spend his time participating in open swim for Bare Bones, as well as expanding his craft as an artist, an animator and a full time content creator. Caleb is ecstatic to be a part of this great cast and is eternally grateful to be a part of Reefer Madness and he hopes that this story will leave a great impact to everyone who sees it.

Bria Watkins -Gable - Ensemble - Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, she has been involved in the arts since she was a child. She is the creator of a new podcast called StarLife and loves movies, theater and creating. She takes a little bit of 7 mile with her wherever she goes. She thanks her parents James and Sabrina for introducing her to the theatre and always reminding her that there are no limitations and that life is beautiful. She also wants to thank her family , friends and most importantly her husband Ben for his unwavering Love and Support through all of her creative and professional journeys. Reefer Maddness is a show she's been excited about for years and she is over the moon that she gets to work with one of Lansing's most talented NEW Directors Quinn Kelly! Let the MADDNESS BEGIN!!!!

Ian Whipp (he/him) - Ensemble -Ian Whipp is federally barred from consuming any form of THC or CBD due to his career, and as such urges you to hold the wisdom from the lessons you’ll have learned from this show close to your heart before you take a toot of that Wicked Jazz Flute. You’ve more than likely seen Ian in previous Riverwalk works such as Seussical, 12 Incompetent Jurors, a showing of Bare Bones Improv or two, or even driving a school bus around Lansing.
